I lived here for a year. It’s a great location and very close to downtown but it’s an older building. You don’t actually control your heat. They turn off the heat whenever they feel like it or if it’s warmer/40 degrees throughout the day. Then if temps drop to below 20-30 degrees later that night, you have to sleep without heat because they had the boilers shut off during the day shift and don’t come back until about 9AM the next day. I lived here for six years throughout my entire PhD program, and that alone should say a lot about how much I loved it. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the building is genuinely cared for around the clock. Any time I needed a repair or something as small as a lightbulb replacement, it was taken care of quickly. One thing that really stood out was how clean the building is. I rented for a year and the experience was so horrible I would NEVER rent here again. The apartment itself had mold and water damage.
