They were amazing and making my cat feel right at home and comfortable! Very knowledgeable and caring making it’s a simple process to set up the appointment and unload previous medical records I would 10 out of 10 recommend! Myckel is awesome!

I had just moved from the Lake Wylie area into the city. As a first time pet owner, i wanted to make sure my baby was moved to sufficient care, and we definitely found that!! My baby had a fever and wasn’t eating, which is super scary!! Dr.Shirley and her team you could tell are all concerned and passionate individuals at what they do. Huge thanks to Dr. Shirley and tech Chris for a successful first visit! We have had our ~5 year old bully mix rescue, Louie, for a little over a year, and past vet visits have been extremely stressful for all parties involved. Louie struggles with pressure/handling and exhibits fear-based aggression at the vet, so much so that our previous vet was visibly timid and unwilling to treat him without medication. I would 100% trust my dog with everyone in this clinic. Polo (my dog) hurt his back a few days ago, and needed surgery. Dr. Shirley and Amber went above and beyond to schedule an appointment at Carolina Veterinary Specialists a day later and he now is back home and recovering!! All while being in direct contact with the doctors and with me!! They are so thoughtful and exactly what I was looking for in a vet. 100000% recommended.

Worst experience with this Vet. There was a terrible miscommunication with staff that caused an unfortunate dispute. No clear communication on pricing. Did not feel comfortable with my dog in their hands. Unfortunately, I will be bringing my pet elsewhere. There are many other established practices that will treat their clients with more patience and understanding. Dr. Shirley will need to treat her clients with a bit more respect if she wants a successful practice in the area. Hopefully, with more time and experience, this ... read more
