I had my first covid test this weekend and this was an incredibly efficient process. I came in, gave my name and birth date, was told to walk in for the test, and left. I was there for less than 2 minutes. The test itself is quick and painless, they just rub a q-tip in each of your nostrils for about 10 seconds. I drove 45 minutes to get here, was 15 minutes early for my appointment, waited in the lane of cars for 30 minutes, and got turned away once I got to the very front of the line because they were running behind. I have symptoms and I’m trying to do the responsible thing by getting tested, and Color and the city of SF are making it next to impossible.

Super super slow on the weekend. I strongly recommend you do the walk-up. one lane can end up being one quarter of the speed of other lanes. I don't know what one crew is different from another but I waited here an hour after my appointment.

While this was a great testing site, it has permanently closed and been relocated to Alemany Farmer's Market.
