Frequently lacks x-ray tech, waiting times are quite long now (1 hr+), after care isn't reliable.
I don’t understand why you allow patients to book an appointment online when you don’t see them on time. I booked an appointment for 3:45 PM, showed up at 3:20 PM and it’s 5:25 PM and I still haven’t been seen by any doctor. I understand if the facility is busy, but why let patients make appointments if you clearly are not able to provide care. So frustrating and unprofessional. Never coming back to this location.
I went here to get medical forms filled for work. I made an appointment, arrived early, with a virtually empty waiting room. All I needed was a blood test and a booster. It took me over 2 hours for these extremely simple tasks to get done. When I was finally seen, the doctor laughed and asked why I needed to provide my work with the forms (??) which felt uncalled for and careless. How are you supposed to answer that? Had wonderful care from CityMD at Prospect Heights. Had major swelling from allergies and the team at this location were so kind and competent. Was given the medicine I needed for immediate relief, as well as help with a follow up appointment with a specialist within my health insurance network. Very grateful to you all. I believe my reporting doctor was C. John and was very good! Kind, straightforward, and solution oriented. Thank you!
Don’t go here if you need urgent help, the wait for a visit is close to two hours. Beyond that, the team specializes in sending surprise bills and won’t validate if care they provide is covered by your insurance plan even if you are in network. Lastly, the staff do not want to let patients keep their own record of visits. This is concerning as a patient if you need continuity of care on an issue from another provider.
