I came in today with sliced off finger tips from a mandolin slicer. The male Dr did not even want to look at my wounds. He wouldn’t open my bandages so I had to do it- barely looked, and then did Not clean them, just put average bandages- not even finger ones- so loosely on top on my fingers that they fell off right away. The nurse and receptionists were nice and the Dr wasn’t rude just completely disinterested. My husband did a better job with zero training.
The receptionist was annoyed that I didn't make an appointment. I didn't know that urgent cares even accept appointments. They had me scan a QR code to fill out all my information. The form was very clunky and had several issues. After it reloaded for the 3rd or 4th time, I asked for and was told that they didn't have paper copies. What if someone didn't have a device with them to scan the code? The receptionist then looked up my insurance information and told me that I have a copay, which I do not. The large white haired female doctor with glasses has horrific bedside manner being exceedingly rude, and also gave me improper medical advise. The male doctor I've seen has always been polite though and very helpful. And because it was related to the same issue I had mentioned to her what he had said about it. And her response was "do you want to come back on another day when he's here then?" Along with a lot of other incredibly demeaning and rude things that she said to me.
