I’ve never written a review before-good or bad-just not my thing. However, my experience at this office has compelled me to do so. I made an appointment, gave all requested information on line and arrived on time. I waited over an hour to be checked in and directed to a patient room. In fairness, it was a Monday morning and they said they were unexpectedly short staffed. Fine. Don’t bother making an appointment. You’ll end up waiting for everyone else to go ahead anyway. Go to Atlanticare instead. They’ll text you when to come over so you’re not wasting your time.
Absolutely fantastic nursing staff. I had to rush my 5 year old in for asthmatic exasperation and potential pneumonia while on vacation. Our nurse was calm, compassionate and completely understanding that I was a frazzled mess. She got us all the medicines we needed to get him back on track. By the end of our visit, my son told me he wished she could be his doctor all the time and invited her to come to the beach with us. We are extremely thankful
I'd stay away from this place. My wife went in with a very simple laceration that just needed a few stitches. They said they couldn't handle it and sent her to an ER. At the ER the physicians didn't understand why they couldn't handle it. They also billed us for the visit. So, instead of having a $500 bill from an urgent care center, we have a $2500 from an ER, for a 1 inch skin thickness laceration. Do yourself a favor and go to a different urgent care. Do not waste your time here - it is unsafe. Was prescribed an antibiotic as a pregnant woman that is linked to known birth defects and was not made aware of this until I already paid for the drug at the pharmacy. It is the first precaution on the medication - doxycycline hyclate - do not take while pregnant. It can cause bone and teeth deformation in fetuses. Went in for a sore throat and headaches as a precaution during my early pregnancy - 12 weeks. I told the staff I was pregnant immediately and allergic to penicillin. Mi... read more
