Not recommended. Staff is rude, and by all appearances completely ignorant as to the meaning of the words “senior” and “apartment” . This institution is run more like a juvenile detention facility than a residential community for elderly persons. There are MUCH better places in Kalamazoo. Keep looking.
I've lived here for 10 years and volunteered for most of them. I consider this more than just "a roof over my head". This is my home and enjoy the many friendships I have made.
It's a great place. People are friendly and social.
I came here to live 9 yrs ago and i have been having fun volunteering, helping my neighbors, and being involved in my community. Whether or not a person wants to be as involved as i am or not it is a great place to live.
I have lived at Cityview for 3 1/2 years now and I love being here. I do a lot of volunteer work and everyone I work with are very friendly and easy going. Our paid employees are so helpful with anything I have needed. Just a great place to live.
