About this business
City Theatrical Inc. was founded in 1986 by Gary Fails, a Broadway stagehand. While working on shows, Gary saw that there was a need for unique and custom lighting accessories for the entertainment lighting industry. Gary started City Theatrical in a garage in New York City's South Bronx to fill that need, often building products in the shop during the day and testing them in theatres at night.
