it was my first time ever being there at city strength. competing with top tier athletes had given me a passion to craze-over a good reason to give Powerlifting a go in a challenged standard & setting. Absolute riches in the welcoming, I felt like a dog welcomed back to it’s owner when it gets back home from overseas.
Trained at City Strength HQ recently while visiting Sydney and had a fantastic experience. Both the coaches and members were extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the gym has a great community atmosphere. The facility is perfectly equipped for IPF powerlifting, with everything you could need, but I was delighted to see specialty bars like a squat bar and deadlift bar available too. Would highly recommend to any powerlifters visiting Sydney.
Went in to get shoes today, staff were super nice, patient, and helpful!
Very good gym, went there for training whilst prepping for APA Mega Nats. Very solid gym with Eleiko combo racks, bars and calibrated plates. They also have calibrated dumbbells, and upstairs they have mostly (as far as I'm aware) Hammer strength machines for accessories.
Great gym, amazing culture, people are so nice, feels like a family.
