Great place! My buddy Cory and I went here on a tip from a local of Somerville. He was right, great menu, prices, and food quality was great. Plus they have a liquor store right next door if your looking for that something extra to cap off your night, this is the place!
Sometimes, you have to deal with change. Unfortunately, the new owners have replaced the pan-style pizza with the same old Italian style you find almost everywhere. You took the most identifiable menu item that separated this restaurant from the rest and replaced it with an inferior product. There are many Italian style pizza places in the area with a better product. And before you respond, no I won't find a new favorite. Sorry.

I agree with the other comments that I am devastated about the change of pizza. The original pizza has been our go-to favorite since the Urban Gourmet days. I'm sure the other menu items are fine, but the reason we loved City Slickers so much was for the pizza. Unless you go back to the original pizza, unfortunately I'm afraid you will lose many customers.

What happened to the pizza? Not the same at all and not nearly as good such a bummer That said the Caesar is still yummy, it would be great if you gave two dressings for a regular salad. The roll is hard but I forgive you because I hardly ever eat them anyway. Back to the pizza, so sad its changed i craved the old pizza constantly weekly almost daily. Like home cooking, if momma could cook this well. We had a large party and I tried meat loaf, pot roast, adobo pork, and chicken piccata and seriously they were all among the best versions of those dishes I've ever had. This place is a gem!

I've ordered from City Slickers a few times in the past and have never been disappointed. Tonight. I ordered the baked stuffed salmon. At first, all was well. Until I noticed that the salmon was basically melting in my mouth. Upon further inspection, I realized that the half the salmon was severely undercooked. Talk about disgusting. Realizing this made me sick to my stomach. I hope this is just a one time slip but it will be a while until I can forget this to order again.
