I’ve owned my unit for 20 years with no issues — until this property management company took over. When they did, they reassessed the fees and claimed they had been undercharging us for the past three years. Based on their mistake, they slapped us with a sudden $1,500 charge — and gave only 3 months to pay, essentially demanding the money and threatening legal action. After my building started getting managed by them they started to find ways to charge you with anything. The building manager threatens with liens when charges are questioned. He isn’t in his office 3/5 times you go at the office hours posted. Notices about cars being locked in the garage because of renovations are not posted like they used to be at peoples doors or in the mail. We have had Tony from City Sites for a year now as our property manager. It has not gone well. Projects drag on for weeks to months, emails go unanswered, requests go ignored. He came in saying he did things differently. That much is true, he is the first property manager (I have lived in condos my entire adult life) I have ever met who is so - uninvolved, unavailable, and uninterested. Experience with city sites has been very pleasent. Ishita has been really helpful as an assistant property manager of my building and guided me with all the issues I had initially. She has expertise in problem solving and is knowledgable on how to deal with home owners.
