Will absolutely never return here. I purchased a Groupon for a full highlight and cut for $64. My appointment was canceled not once but TWICE. And both times within 2 hours of the appointment. I had taken off work and cleared my schedule three times. Extremely unprofessional. I finally got into the salon and was told in order to get the highlights I wanted (I wanted balayage), that it would cost me an additional $150 because I had previously dyed my hair with box dye. Heather has been my stylist for 10 years. I have had my hair long, layered and relaxed, short pixie style and naturally curly in the time that I've known her. She styled my hair for my wedding and has been my go to girl for hair and makeup for more photo shoots/filmed interviews that I can count. I have always left with fiercely styled hair and makeup. I have hair that nobody seems to know how to work with. I saw Heather on a whim and was so happy that I did. I left the salon smiling, and have gone back twice now. She did highlights in my hair and did them the PERFECT shade for my hair and skin tone. Do go see them. Heather is the only one I've had do my hair, and she always says she knows exactly what I need/want, and she does! It's awesome.
The reason for going to City Salon was due to a Groupon I purchased. I went to see Heather, because I found some good reviews that mentioned her name. I got a cut on my long hair. She said she would put some "soft layers" in it, but the layers are so bad, more like random chunks of my hair being cut off. It looks so bad, now I have to permanently wear my hair up or chop it all off. It's really bad and there's nothing I can do about it! I started seeing Heather 4 months ago and I couldn't imagine having anyone else do my hair. She does such a great job! Highly recommended!!!!
