Great place for stringing and demoing racquets! We recently bought a ball machine but before that, our friend group used to regularly rent the Proton ball machine here for a flat $35 for the day, bring it to a nearby public court, and take turns until the battery ran out (~3hrs), which ends up being a super good deal
I needed my racquet restrung urgently. Everywhere else in SF quoted me 3-17 days. Dan was super responsive on the phone and was great. Even helped me switch to a better string type and understand what I was buying better. Location was very convenient to get to from the bart station. Will be going back for all tennis needs
I had been a long time customer at this place, but I think I need to find another place soon. They charged $30 labor for the stringing and have to wait for 5 days,also charged $20 labor for putting on a grommet. I think that’s ridiculous, I bought my own string and grommet still paid $50 for the labor. Oh well….
