I have been going to John at City PC Repairs for about 15 years for repairs and upgrades to PCs, laptops and phones. He has also managed to recover data on a number of occasions including a large number of photos which would otherwise have been lost. He has always been helpful, thorough, diligent and his charges are very reasonable. Most recently he has successfully installed Windows 11 on a 12 year old PC, despite Microsoft making this really difficult. Strongly recommended.
John has been repairing and upgrading our business and personal PCs for over a decade and has never failed to provide supreme service and professionalism. From broken hard drives and subsequent data recovery to PC and disc upgrades, John really has the knowledge and equipment to solve all computer issues and problems. As well as being the best repair shop in town, John is genuinely one of life's good guys. Highly recommended.
I took my partner's Nintendo Switch to this establishment for an examination. It at ceased working, completely dead. John had a thorough look at it, switching components to see if it could be revived. Unfortunately, the Switch could not be fixed, this is not John's fault. His service is impeccable and I fully recommend him if you have a device that needs fixing. His rescue dog was super cute as well.
I have used the services at City PC Repairs a couple of times now. The first time was a Nintendo Switch and the next time was for PS5. I really like John, he is very good and provides and straight forward no nonsense service which I really appreciate. I was kept informed of the progress of my repair and my expectations were set early on with regards to timescales. I highly recommend John and will return as soon as the kids break device again! John diagnosed and repaired the faulty disc drive on my PS5 quickly and at a great price! Highly recommend this service. Added bonus of getting to meet his wonderful dog.
