It is a sad day for the people and community of Upland. The Police department headed by the new Chief of Police decided to remove the Little Free Library, that was given to the community, out of the lobby where it served the children of Upland. It provided access to to free books the the children of Upland 24 hours a day. For two years it was there and was embraced by the community. I'm a dog owner who lives near the city of Upland and I worry that this kind of shelter is running in your city. They're thieves hiding behind charity & humanitarian veil. A dog owner find its dog in the kennel and is denied any access to the dog so the dog can go a new owner????? A pure bred French bulldog with a microchip , is worth thousands of dollars. New information has arose from an inside source at the Upland animal shelter that has stated 2 workers of this shelter have illegally taken this families dog and falsified an adoption. This is now a criminal act and possibly felony due to the value of this dog and is pursuant to criminal charges against these workers and the shelter. Please investigate your community shelter.
