why can someone in town have a 5 foot pool with 3 foot chain link fence and have a huge propane tank to heat their pool? thought you could not have a huge propane tank in city limits.

Can the city explain why there have been no snowplows on main roads? East Lefevre has not been touched. School might be cancelled but adults still have to get to work!

RecommendedWas walking my grand kids around downtown. When we went by the library we heard a horrible noise. It was a dog tied to a tree obviously in distress. The owner was looking for help. A lady at library told him to go to the fire department. He came back with 2 of our local heroes. They got the dog in the back of one of their trucks and took him to the station. The city of Sterling has been Awesome! We came north as part of the detail to bury Korean War Hero Corporal John Krebs. Everyone has been great. Big shout out to Chief Morgan and the Schilling family! Thank You!
I have been to city hall several times since I moved back to Sterling...to register to vote, to obtain a building permit and to visit the police department for a vacation house check. I have never had bad service from anyone and it was always with a smile that I was greeted by everyone.
