I did not like seeing the city crew out this morning cleaning snow off the tennis court. Yet we have called 2 times in the last 4 months to cut down a pine tree on city property in which is 2/3 dead near my driveway. Depending on the direction it falls over it could land on our vehicles a house a garage ripped down all of the power lines in the area. Do not move here unless planning to be surprised with a 3,000 dollar bill when they decide it's time to redo the road in front of your house that's perfectly fine. Not a crack or pot hole in it. Oh, but there might be a lead water main underneath, cities fault for neglecting, however you need to pay up. Do not move here. Seriously. This town is corrupt to say the least and they take advantage of their residents based on their own neglect. Move somewhere else.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and loved growing up and visiting there. But Owosso has so much charm and history, fun community events, great Theatre, and is a place with a strong sense community. Owosso, you're my home now and I appreciate all the changes I've seen in the past 40 years.

The city of Owosso Ordinances office likes harassing people and being assholes. Getting a letter about a popup camper that's parked in my driveway saying it's stored improperly and that it has to be stored in an enclosed building, a backyard or driveway. IT WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY BEHIND MY HOUSE! So explain to me how it was stored improperly.
