They subpoenaed me for not paying taxes to Lima in a year I did not live there, send me threatening letters, but will not contact me. Also sent the letters to the wrong address and they didn’t reach me before the court date, so I never knew. No answering the phone or answering my emails. I work a government job and this is putting me at risk with my security clearance. Absolutely ridiculous
Have tried calling for 2 days now no answer. I owe something and dont know how much it is. How hard is it to answer the phone!!
Got a letter I need to submit paper work. Emailed a lady I worked with previously tried calling multiple weeks no one answers no replies to email then get a letter saying I’m ordered to show up on a certain date. This is ridiculous I’ve been trying to get a hold of you guys for weeks.. but you have time to send a letter. Edit Kimberly helped me out was very professional.
A joke of a system, charges you on total income. Not taxable income for 1. Why? Because they can. Our money doesn't go to fix anything in Lima itself, let alone plow my road or fix the pot holes. Lastly they expect payment but never send a bill, only when it's late they expect some kind of fee. Until you prove with USPS expected delivery they NEVER sent anything until after the due date. What a joke. Lastly, learn to pick up your phone, no one is dropping cash in the drop box with a company this shifty.
A call system would be nice for them. The city of Lima itself has one, but these guys? Nah, it just rings and rings and rings. But they'll be sure to send you a letter every week until you get there. I tried several times to call and let them know I'll come up when I'm off next week. No answer. Not even once. The IRS doesn't harass you as much, nor the state of Ohio, but these guys are worst than any collection agency. Generally I'm good at making sure I get them taken care of, but lord forbid you forget.
