I love our very community friendly police department. I have not only never had a negative interaction with them, they have always been extra wonderful and they are very very appreciated.
Thank you soooo much for your help! We were leaving Preston Castle on Sunday October 22nd and some how our battery went dead. We were stranded and my wife was really worried. Several cars came up to the castle, but had no jumper cables and it would be hours before a tow truck could assist us due to a few accidents in the area. Officer Casias gave us a jump and had us on our way in no time.
Last night, after leaving the Preston Castle Haunt (I'm on the cast), I realized I had a flat tire and pulled over. I was out of cel service range, just myself and 4 tweenage girls. Officer Casias drove by us and immediately turned around to assist us. He was so awesome, he changed my tire (luckily the second officer that pulled up had an air pump in his vehicle, my spare had no air!) for me and asked for nothing but a hand shake. A big shout out to chief busby of Ione Police Department! I left a message last week about the speeders coming into ione from Preston Ave and he put the speed machine "as I call it" out to remind people it's only 35. It's scary to have my kids play out there with how fast people go. Thank you ione police department for listening to my concerns

I Love our Ione P.D.!! And Jeff, I still have that black bag with the big red & white round pin that I badgered you for years ago!! The one that says " I Love Ione P.D." Long Time--Hey hear "the Travel Channel" is coming back to Preston! And they asked for you!!
