Great hospital, great research, very good surgeries, doctorsand nurses excellent and caring. However, ever since a corporation took over, it's showing, especially in the hotel not allowing you to stay without a caregiver even if you don't need one, just having tests and seeing doctors..,....
My mom was presumed to have pancreatic cancer in early December based on CT imaging that showed various metastatic masses. I was told the next step would be to complete a biopsy in order to confirm it but that I would need to meet with an oncologist to get the correct biopsy scheduled. I was unable to meet with an oncologist through her in-network insurance (they canceled and rescheduled every appointment that I made and left 1/12/26 as the soonest appointment).
