Amazing, state-of-the-art care. Everything from the valet parking attendants to the surgeons is WONDERFUL.
I am writing this review in the hope that it helps other patients and families navigating a cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, my family's experience at City of Hope was extremely disappointing. The biggest issues we encountered were poor communication, lack of coordination between departments, and significant delays in care. Throughout my mom's treatment, communication was inconsistent. My brother in law was treated at the City of Hope for bone cancer and he has survived for ten years.
The team at COH took incredible care of my mom for over a decade. Every person that I interacted with at the hospital while we visited her in the ICU was truly a beacon of hope, from the nurse in the hallway who walked me to my destination when I was lost, to the kind gentleman at the family center who directed me to the showers.
