Showed up to pick up some books on hold at 5:50 on a Friday when they’re supposed to close at 6. Nope. Closed. Someone else showed up behind us and they were also confused. Frustrating for me because I worked hard to get there on time and not keep them past closing time. Disappointing for my 3 year old that was so excited to get his books that he’d picked out online. You're completely right that you should be able to pick up your holds at 5:50, and this missed connection was our fault—I'm sorry we caused you and your son to have a crummy night/weekend! Separately from what happened on Friday, every day we do close our checkout line and drive-through window 5 minutes before we close the building, as explained in a poster on the drive-through window that lists our hours. RecommendedMe and my girlfriend was at the farmer's market today. It was nice out, a band was playing and the vendors had interesting things on sale like pottery and jewelry. The library has been my home away from home and sometimes my home, for years now. I love the movies and finding a quiet corner to read. I hope the library opens soon!
I have always found the staff to be very kind and helpful. I feel that it is my home away from home. The staff has always been very helpful to me. When I come to a dead end with my researching the staff always manages to find something in the field that I am looking for. I love the library so much that I decided to sign up to be a friend of the library. Also I have never in my whole life seen such a large selection of books at one library. I could spend all day there. It is my place to go and get away from it all.
Noisy, I had to leave a few times because it is hard to concentrate on my studies
I've been going to the library every week for almost eight years. It was kind of my home for awhile to be honest. Through the years I've watched a lot of great movies, books and my favorite, graphic novels. It's still a safe quiet place that I enjoy going to with my girlfriend now. I think the library is one of the best resources the city has to offer.

An amazing library! Much nicer than I expected with an extremely nice staff. The children's areas are incredible, my son loves it.
