I’ve been using this bank since 2014. Honestly the majority of the time I’ve had to actually enter the bank for any reason I’ve had a pleasant experience. The most annoyed I’ve been was having to call the bank because I made a purchase out of state and didn’t tell them I was traveling. The fraud alerts are reassuring though. I would suggest Boston city hall employees utilize this bank as you get paid sooner. With that being said the consistency hasn’t been so great over the past few years (2024-26). 4 stars. Worst experience I've ever had with a bank trying to close this account, and one of my old banks went fully bankrupt. Conflicting information, pingponging me between contact methods, new charges every fking day they refuse to close a defunct account for me. They won't even tell me how I'm supposed to pay the charges they keep adding. Not only did the manager that was supposed to call me back never do it, they're not even picking up the phone at my branch. Just awful.
