Worst experience I've ever had with a bank trying to close this account, and one of my old banks went fully bankrupt. Conflicting information, pingponging me between contact methods, new charges every fking day they refuse to close a defunct account for me. They won't even tell me how I'm supposed to pay the charges they keep adding. Not only did the manager that was supposed to call me back never do it, they're not even picking up the phone at my branch. Just awful. I was trying to contact them about a force-place insurance to my account. I am and was always covered by insurance. For some reason they added force-placed insurance of over $3000 to my car loan out of the blue (during 2nd year into the loan). The excuse was they didn't receive my policy from my insurer. I never had to do this with any other creditor. I had to personally provide them the policy but once I sent them the email, they never got back to me and did not take any action. I will consider suing them soon.
