3 times the charm? No! How many tries does it take for this dealer to fix a simple 1999 sportster? None, bcause they do not know what they are doing. I took my 1999 Sportster in for service on 9/7/12 for backfiring issues and hard starting and not wanting to start 85% of the time. They called me in few days to tell me that the bike needs new start module, wires and plugs. Fine I said and told them to proceed with the repair. WASE OF TIME!!! The most condescending arrogant people that I have ever met! The sales girls in apparel are great but the tool with the pony tail and the other wanna bees in the sales department need to learn how to treat a person. Really? Customer Service - where? I'm thinking the folks who wrote these reviews must be talking about the OLD H-D in Palatine. Once went into but a $40K bike, the salesman seemed uninterested in selling anything. Said, "put down a deposit and we'll go from there." A deposit before I know the price? Then communicated a complete list of what I was looking for, contacted a month after I had already bought a bike at another store. Then yesterday - signed up and went over for the "service" seminar. Above and beyond !!! I have a 2006 Electra Glide which had a defective head on the rear cylinder and in a conversation with the operations manager this week resulted in correcting this problem and CL has gone above and beyond my expectations.. Not only are they replacing the head on my Electra Glide but they are taking care of storage for me as well? Hats off to them, I stand corrected in my assumption. City Limits Harley Rocks!!! When I bought my bike City Limits H-D was still known as Suburban. I have had a great experience with the dealership from day one. since then I have been in for 1k & 5k services, both times the friendly attitude, skill, and attention to detail have left me with a smile on my face.
