It's the best seafood restaurant on the island, my husband brought me hear on our 1st date 10 years ago, we've been coming here ever since, the staff over all are very nice, any waiter you get, they treat you wth love & respect... I give Lobstet house 10 stars The Carter's love you...

Ok my wife and I have been going to City Island for some time now and we always go to Samey's great food. But we decided to try different places because there are so many on that strip . So far the best was The Crab Shanty #1. Unbelievable food words cannot even begin to explain. #2 Is Samey's. And #3 Is Lobster House . The food here was no good we ordered the seafood extravaganza it came with king crab, a whole lobster, a couple baked clams, a couple jumbo shrimp, vegetable rice and your choice of linguine or french fries. ... read more

Anyone reading this please take my word for it. You will return here for years. Birthdays ,Celebrations or just on a date with someone special. Tell the waiter/waitress that the light-skinned chinky eyed guy with the scar on his face that leaves big tips sent you. Try the Salmon 😎
The Lobster House is the ONLY restaurant to eat at in City Island , Everything is always fresh & served with a smile , The staff is great and the owner a wonderful man that knows how to run a business. Best place to be when your in City Island and want a really good meal . I guarantee you will enjoy it and return often . Enjoy everyone .
