Had dinner there last night and was highly impressed. In the interest of full disclosure, I am the owner of the @[1594167350834262:Buck Snort Trout Ranch] which supplies locally grown trout to City House, but even if I had no affiliation with this fine establishment they would be getting 5 stars from me. A must if you are in Nashville! Came in from out of town and heard of this place in Germantown you couldn't miss. A creative spin on food, and a staff/environment that will make you not want to leave.
Had an amazing meal here last Friday. First, I love that they keep their porch and bar seating available for walk-ins. My wife and I showed up a little before their 5pm opening time, and were seated right away. We started with small plates (Frico and Cabbage w/ Field Peas), then I demolished pizza with belly ham, mozzarella, Grans Padano, Oregano & Chilies. We were in a rush for an event and they were very accommodating. Great service. I would try the whole trout, the belly ham pizza, and the catfish. Yummy.
This was amazing! Food was incredible, service was very attentive and helpful. Oh and great atmosphere. We will be back!
Sunday Supper was awesome! Trout was perfect, Head cheese and pork biscuits was on point, and server was informative. Enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching the chefs work.
