my wife had been asking for me to take her to CityHouse for a couple of years. Tonight I took her for her birthday. It was also my sister's birthday so she & her husband came as well. We were very disappointed. The Frico appetizer was ok, but nothing special. I ordered the belly pizza which was pretty good. My wife however ordered the trout. It was terrible. Fab place. If here on a Sunday , recommend chinese cabbage and pork meatballs as starters. Pizza we really liked: spinach and ricotta.

After reading the reviews and numerous awards, I was super excited about going to the city house for dinner. I left thinking that I missed something even though we ordered half of everything on the menu. My thoughts are if you have a small menu with high prices on everyday cuts...it must be amazing, right?
