Dr. Dubicki is a great guy and a very good doctor. Unfortunately, I purchased (for $300) a pair of reading glasses that were a non-starter. Though the assistant admitted there was nothing wrong with the frame (they hadn't been abused or misused) one of the lenses had fallen out. Instead of reeming the frame supplier for their substandard product and replacing the glasses for me with another more reliable frame, they offered to discount my "next" pair 30%, In other words... they wanted me to spend another $700 to recoup the $... read more
I Experienced Great Service – Dr. Dubicki is a great doctor...period. His expertize, thoroughness, and what looks to be state of the art medical equipment resulted in a great eye exam. He also suggested a follow up cholestorol based on observations...something I will definitely do. Following my eye exam, I had his staff pick up frames for me as having been recently divorced...I needed some fashion guidance on my frames. Best Eye Doctor and Great Location – Dr. John Dubicki is simply the best eye doctor I have had. I started out with such great vision, and it is a low blow to suddenly need glasses! He is a very compassionate listener to all my complaining about aging eyesight. He is fantastic at explaining what is going on, and I love my frames, too.
Best Frames in Town, but... – I wouldn't go anywhere else, despite their higher prices! I would have, if I had more time or wasn't too lazy, at least to price shop.
Awesome Doctor & Professional Service – I was resistant in trying this doctor based on several of the prior reviews regarding bad customer service. However this doctor is listed as a preferred provider under VSP & is convenient to where I live. My first appointment went extremely well. The doctor was professional, the exam was thorough, his staff friendly, and they didn't debate me when I told them I wanted to buy my contacts at Costco. Great Customer Service! – I had a great experience at City Eye Care. I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday to look at frames and the office was very busy. The staff was very efficient and helpful. I had a lot of questions that they answered happily. Dr. Dubicki and his staff provide a stress free experience. Great doctor, horrible customer service – I have been seeing Dr. Dubicki for six or seven years now. I used to live in Queen Anne but even kept seeing him after I moved because I really like his professionalism and his personality. His office staff leaves SO much to be desired, though. I used to receive friendly reminder cards about when my eye appointments were due but they started forgetting to send those out. They seriously overcharge for contacts, at least by $10 or more per box, then charge you $5 for shipping. And they... read more
Friendly, efficient service / great neighborhood business – I've been going to Dr. Dubiki for years and have always had a great experience with him and his staff. I've even gone in a couple times for out-of-the-ordinary eye concerns : he took me on a walk-in basis and didn't even charge me. Some of the frames are a little pricey, but I've found that you get what you pay for so it's usually worth it.
Terrible Customer Service – This was my first time in and I needed a prescription for both contacts and glasses. My insurance will cover one or the other and I used it to pay for my contacts. I took the prescription that I was given for glasses to Sam's Club to make new lenses for two pairs of frames that I already owned and loved. It took months and 4 trips back to Sam's Club to finally figure out what was wrong with my glasses.
