I first saw Dr. Udo in late 2022 and thought he was great. I so appreciated having a psychiatrist that I felt was actually willing to listen to me, understood what I was saying, and didn't dismiss my experiences. Seeing him and getting diagnosed has changed my life for the better. Follow-up appointments were simple and my concerns were always addressed. Dr. Udo is the only psychiatrist I've ever been to in over 20+ years who couldn't even be bothered to be present for the appointment. Instead he had a nurse take notes, spent 30 min reviewing her summarization (of what would obviously not be everything I said) then has the audacity to come in the last 10 min and give me a diagnosis. I would advise you go somewhere more professional. Your mental health, especially if you're going to be given a prescription, should not be a process that is akin to the telephone game.

Dr. Udo was great. The appointment itself was very thorough. I left feeling very heard and validated, which (to be honest) wasn’t the outcome I was expecting. But then I had an adverse reaction to the medication I was prescribed. I called the clinic 3 separate times over a 3 week period just trying to get an answer on whether or not the reaction I was having was just my body getting used to the new medication or if I needed to get a different prescription. The only psychiatrist that’s ever listened and heard me. Dr. Udo also never pushed meds on me - he’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. The office staff are also great.
