City Carpet Cleaning began in 1914 and has now been serving Saskatoon and area for over 100 years. Our specialty has been the cleaning of area rugs and binding/serging of carpets in our shop. We clean rugs of any style, whether it is a wool oriental hand woven rug or a synthetic machine woven rug. We can also customize smaller pieces of carpet or larger roll goods to a specified size or shape by cutting and sewing a binding tape or serging yarn around the carpet edges to finish it off. I had a terrible stain on my precious Turkish rug...City Carpet got it out...I am thrilled!
This small local business is outstanding. Could not ask for faster or more professional and friendly service. Highly recommend if you are needing a carpet or rug cut and bound. Tom finished my project in less than 3 hours and the result is fantastic and at an extremely reasonable cost. I now have 2 custom sized rugs for the price of 1. Amazing! 5*.

Just picked up my Persian runner from city carpet and it looks like new! Very pleased with the service and the price was really reasonable. Owner was happy to share some city history as well.
Huge shout out to Tom and his team! We purchased a carpet and it was too big and Tom was able to cut it to fit. The service was outstanding, he finished faster than we expected and the level of workmanship is excellent; would never know that the edge is not factory. Best part was the price to alter it was very reasonable. Highly recommend if you ever need an area rug cut to fit.
