It literally doesn't get any better than this. If you like good food, great desert, and plenty of it, make your way to the city diner. If you read a review here less than 5 stars, disregard it. Hold me responsible if you don't like it. Or hold yourself responsible, because you have bad taste, lol
We've enjoyed 200 of the 400 menu items available at the City Cafe Diner, Cleveland, TN, and what do you think? BEST DAMN FOOD THIS SIDE OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN!!!
I had a Greek Salad and it was just ok. I've had better but I've also had worse. I also ordered a piece of Strawberry Cake. It was $7 a slice granted it was a very large slice. I wouldn't have minded the cost if the cake was amazing but it wasn't even average. The service was good but the food wasn't all that good. It's not likely that I'll go back.
Had really good cream of spinach soup and catfish. Good service. Hot and fresh food.
I took my son last night for his Birthday so he could get a piece of their yummy cake. The service was wonderful but it was sad to hear David no longer works there. He was our favorite waiter. I always ask for him when we go. He will surely be missed.
Always good no matter what you get and no matter what time you go!
