Love going in before 2 pm to have their American food!!
This place is wonderful they have both American and mediteranian food which is delicious. There breakfast is amazing I recommend this place to anyone for lunch breakfast or dinner. Everything is fresh and hot. Desserts are wonderful !!!!!!!!! Price is great and the amount of food they serve.
City Bistro is fabulous in two arwas...the food (amazing), and the people! When we drive to El Cajon, and mealtime comes around...our first question is: how close are we to City Bistro? Then we answer ourselves: it doesn't matter, let's go. Just wish they offered their heavenly eggplant stew more often!
I stumbled upon City Bistro on accident when passing through El Cajon (I live in El Paso, Texas). I guess it was just my day., My football team won, their nemesis lost, and I had the best Mediterranean food in years. Huge portions, great taste. The only disappointment was they had run out of Baklava. Perhaps next time I am in Ca?

Wow!!! This place is soooo GOOD!!! And they serve a huge amount of food per plate! It's actually pretty ridiculous i the best way possible. But who cares! There's enough for dinner and possibly lunch tomorrow! And for a very fair price :-) Go see Vanessa. She's great!

Very friendly staff, clean restaurant, great variety of dishes. We had chicken and it was cooked wonderfully, flavorful and juicy. Very reasonably priced as well.
