You tempted my taste buds with the Chicken and Barley Soup. So glad you did. Just the right seasonings, superb combination of vegetables and chicken in a creamy soup base. Absolutely loved it!

We had eaten at the City Bakery in Asheville a few months ago and had a delicious turkey sandwich on ciabatta. We decided to have lunch at the waynesville location last Friday.... The Reuben was a disappointment- tough meat, very little cheese. I had the chicken salad in avocados... Small serving and I'm pretty sure the chicken was out of a can. So disappointing!
So excited to start my Mother's Day festivities off with a specialty coffee tomorrow at City Bakery...in Waynesville!
Been there at least 5 times when I visit friends. Have never been disappointed. It's NOT fast food, but good food is not instantaneous. The wait is minimal. Enjoy your coffee, tea or mocha in a building colored with local history, then enjoy.
20 minute Wait yet again for a sandwich. This place is going downhill.
