DO NOT USE THIS VET!!!!!!! I only went to this vet for a few months, I spent a lot of money at citrus park Animal Hospital. They did not exceed my expectations. The lady's at the front desk are very rude and have major attitudes. There prices are higher than most, I have four dogs and they don't work with you at all. I decided to go to another vet and they wouldn't even give me my dogs records! They work at a vet but they seem like there not even animal people. Like when my dog licked the vet assistant she seemed bothered or... read more

Best Veterinarian around! I have been taking my pets here for the past 5 years and everyone there is so wonderful. The staff is very compassionate and treats all of my animals like they are their own. Dr. Brooks always finds out exactly what is wrong with my pets and he takes the time to explain everything to me as well. He is so nice and gentle with all of my animals, even when they are scared. I would HIGHLY recommend Citrus Park Animal Hospital to everyone I know.

Negligence or Indifferent – I don?t have the courage to detail the death of my best friend. It is not an issue of whether or not medication would have helped. It?s the unprofessionalism of vet . Two days before my best friend died my wife and I visited the clinic. We agonizingly gave an account of his condition. We were asking for help. What we got was the assurance the vet would contact us. That day, no one called. The next day, the last day of my best friend?s life, my wife returned to the clinic. Again, asking for help. M... read more

Be careful ... – I was looking for a Vet to treat my leopard gecko who had just started to develop a mouth infection. She had not eaten in a few days but had not yet begun to lose weight. Her behavior began to change, meaning she let me pick her up which she had not appreciated at all before. Within 18 hours, I had her in the vet's office because we all know that catching anything early is what we all want including for our littlest family members. The doctor handled her like a belt, flipping her upside down and pulling on h... read more

I took my cat for 16 years to Citrus Park Animal Hospital. In that period of time the all the staff were caring and knowledgeable. When my cat was diagnosed with terminal cancer on the operating table the vet Dr. Brooks gently guided me toward euthanasia with a caring and empathetic hand. He and all the staff were very caring to me and my beloved Sheba who has passed on. I have since adopted another rescue cat and made a foolish mistake of taking her to Banfield in Petsmart because of coupons. After 1 visit there, I choked u... read more

Citrus Park Animal Hospital is a Wonderful Place – I went to Banfield Hospital in PetSmart because I had a coupon and thought their wellness program sounded good. Well it was a scam and I lost $170 plus my credit will be ruined with hundreds more. My former cat died at Citrus Park Animal Hospital where I went for 16 years. They were so kind to me and my Sheba. They took care of the cremation. And surgery was charged only at low amount even though much surgery had been done before I agreed to euthanize Sheba. Dr Brooks was so... read more

Pampers pets AND their owners! – This animal clinic is by far the best in Tampa! I recently compared rates when having my dog nuetered and they were half of what others quoted me! The girls at front are so sweet & caring to animals and the office is warm, friendly and CLEAN!! Teachers are treated extra special with a nice discount on all services!

I switched to Citrus Park AH: Reasonable Prices, Quality Care, and compassionate staff. – 6 months ago my daughter?s 2 YO pet hamster had become ill and Ehrlick AH (my vet at the time) would not treat it. We took it to CPAH and they did a good job with treatment. Although the Hamster eventually passed away CPAH treated the Hamster with great care and us (especially my Daughter) with compassion. We also have a 2 YO Purebred Maltese whom I am very particular about, as I have owned Maltese's for over 15 years. EAH cost me a lot... read more

Lack of Supplies I have three animals at Citrus Park, and I am typically happy with their care. However, I have had negative experiences when it comes to getting supplies, particularly cat food. Although they sell the cat food that I need (medicated kind) they never have it in stock whenever I stop by. Not a big deal - unless it takes two weeks to get it in stock. I went in on a Saturday - it wasn't there and I was told it would be in on the following Wednesday. I called the following Wednesday. They had no idea what I was t... read more
