Dr Brooks is an amazing but the incompetence of the staff up front has finally made me find another vet after 8 years. Information does not get relayed. They are always behind and no one is ever on the same page. I will miss the expertise of Dr Brooks but I can not take his staff any longer.

Brought my Quaker Parrot Green-Green here today for a much needed beak trim. They were very nice and went over what they recommended to make her healthier. Thank you!

Went to these guys for a second opinion for my boxer/lab. She was breaking out, loosing hair, lethargic and anemic. All cause by a thyroid problem we had no idea she had because we were told it was allergies and she was just getting a shot every month and it was covering it up. She was so bad we thought we would loose her. With lots of patience and understanding citrus park animal hospital got my baby girl back to her normal loving self. They are absolutely the only place I will go from now on. They didn’t just take my money... read more

I have been going to Citrus Park Animal Hospital for over 8 years and I love it! All of my pets have been cared for by the staff like they were their own. The staff is so compassionate and Dr. Brooks always takes the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. The prices are reasonable and I have never been asked to perform any unnecessary tests on my pets. Any time I ask they always provide me with an estimate before any procedure. I have called at the very last second before and they have always fit me... read more

They know VERY LITTLE about reptiles and because of that I lost 2 bearded dragon's with them. The 1st has a respiratory infection, had the vet known this in the 3 times I had my pet there he could of been treated in time. This vet said it "might" be so gave him antibiotic the day before he died, again he was there 3 times in 40 days. When I got a new baby I again took her there, this time 4 vet visits costing over $600 & he STILL didn't know. He referred me to a specialist who immediately know it was eggs that burst. I spent... read more
