"Never, never apply with City Nest to find a place to rent. THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS. They are the most irresponsible and inhumane people I have ever met. I believe we were taken advantage of by Citynest in 2018. We were in our early 20s, naive and had not signed a lease in NYC before. We were only shown 2 units and were rushed into applying for an apartment that was way outside of our budget the day of the viewing because “there was no time to sleep on it.” To no surprise, we were not approved right away because of our income being too low.
