Close to closing time on New Year's Eve, the staff at this Citibank branch helped my wife open a new account. They were both friendly and professional. (The Citi branch on G St., N.W. had been dismissive, saying that they had another appointment and could not help us. We were the only customers there at that time.) I appreciate that the staff at this Pennsylvania Ave. branch prioritized our needs above any desire others might have had to wind down before closing time.
One of the staff who works as personal banker has no knowledge of how to handle the close account and how to help to resolved the customer issue.
Very rude staff and slow service
First of all, you can never get through the phone line to ask any questions. I had to pay 3 visits due to inconsistent instructions given to me. The branch manager showed no interest and patience in assisting and she could not wait to remind me to take concerns and complaints to customer service. Laziness, dismissive attitude and condescension.
Polite and friendly tellers, good A/C..( just right temperature) and bank is among the best in town
