OG tex mex with outstanding service. The restaurant is an institution and I'm so glad that they are still going strong. Inexpensive, dynamite food and pleasant dining room. Good music playing. Very family friendly. I'd go back everyday if I could. Best marquee/ restaurant sign on the East Side. A true gem.
Optimistic but disappointed. Cute diner feel. Service was polite but underwhelming. Really good salsa with stale chips. We had shredded chicken tacos and carne asada. Both were average at best. Too many other restaurants better and within walking distance.
The absolute best.
