bread was boring. service was slow. pasta was dripping in oil. there are much better restaurants in ptown like 9 ryder seafood. i might give this restaurant a second chance but im in no ruch to go back!
What happened? used to be great! – We cannot begin to tell you how dissappointed we were with the service and the food Saturday night. For the past 3 years we have come to your lovely restaurant for dinner on halloween night. Some of us have been coming here for over 20 years. Rome has truly fallen – We should have paid attention to the first red flag when they took our reservation for 8 p.m. about an hour before we arrived. It was a busy Saturday night and we couldn't get into any other restaurant of note. Luke-warm pasta – If you don't mind luke warm pasta, Ciro & Sal's is your place. Nice atmosphere. Superb cocktails - the barman was a real pro. However, when we visited on a recent Saturday night, Ciro's was understaffed (2 waitpersons for a large dining area). Consequently my wife's pasta dish was served late and barely warm. Since that was her main dish, she was less than impressed. She ate two spoonfuls. I will always come back here! – If you're looking for the traditional italian taste, you found the place. They have a selections of wine, antipasto, main courses, desserts, etc. Good service, lots of seats, lower level, upper level........ romantic ambiance.......see you there.
Our New Favorite Place and Soon to be Yours!!! – My family and I vacation every summer in Provincetown. We had always heard of Ciros but never made it until this last trip and now we regret not stopping by sooner. The place was so charming, down to the little shell entrance alley, to the beautiful garden, and of course the notable wine cellar/dinning room.
