You will find this restaurant tucked away behind Commercial Street, down a clamshell alleyway and through a portal in a trellis that opens into a patio and garden. Inside is a very cozy, wine cellar with low ceilings, complete with hanging Chianti wicker basket bottles. This is the main fireside dining area for this sumptuous, legendary Provincetown eating experience. Upstairs, the Tuscany Room is decorated with paintings for sale, and an award-winning bartender offers you all manner of drinks. The food, mostly Northern Ital... read more

What happened? used to be great! – We cannot begin to tell you how dissappointed we were with the service and the food Saturday night. For the past 3 years we have come to your lovely restaurant for dinner on halloween night. Some of us have been coming here for over 20 years. Our waitress arrived after waiting for a while for our drink order took a few drink orders and left before getting our wine order. I was clear that her mind was elsewhere and this was the beginning of very bad service for the rest of the evening. The 3... read more
Rome has truly fallen – We should have paid attention to the first red flag when they took our reservation for 8 p.m. about an hour before we arrived. It was a busy Saturday night and we couldn't get into any other restaurant of note. The red flags continued, as this alleged Northern Italian restaurant featured such 70's Italian classics as Chicken Parmagiana and Spaghetti and Meatballs for the ridiculous price of $17.95. Completely understaffed, the waitress finally came to our table, apologizing for the delay. She was eith... read more
Luke-warm pasta – If you don't mind luke warm pasta, Ciro & Sal's is your place. Nice atmosphere. Superb cocktails - the barman was a real pro. However, when we visited on a recent Saturday night, Ciro's was understaffed (2 waitpersons for a large dining area). Consequently my wife's pasta dish was served late and barely warm. Since that was her main dish, she was less than impressed. She ate two spoonfuls. The waitperson knew that the entree had been sitting for too long because she gave out with the inevitable "the dish is... read more
I will always come back here! – If you're looking for the traditional italian taste, you found the place. They have a selections of wine, antipasto, main courses, desserts, etc. Good service, lots of seats, lower level, upper level........ romantic ambiance.......see you there.
Our New Favorite Place and Soon to be Yours!!! – My family and I vacation every summer in Provincetown. We had always heard of Ciros but never made it until this last trip and now we regret not stopping by sooner. The place was so charming, down to the little shell entrance alley, to the beautiful garden, and of course the notable wine cellar/dinning room. The wine cellar/dinning room is decorated with wicker Chianti bottles and beautiful artwork, just the right mix of Old World charm and elegance. After view the restaurant ... read more
