Have always enjoyed this place until today. Picked up an item from the sales floor to purchase but it did not have a price on it. Asked how much it was and the lady told me she was giving it to her niece then put a sold sticker on it and refused to let me purchase it.

I visited Charlottesville for a friend's celebration of life. Since we moved thrifting together, I thought it would be fitting to thrift in her home town. I was impressed by the shops size and selection. I spent a couple of hours looking through all the goodies. I wish I didn't live 700 miles away. If you're in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience with Circa in Charlottesville. I reached out ahead of time about selling a Jens Risom lounge chair in excellent condition—these chairs retail new for over $1,700—and Robin invited me to bring it in for an appointment. When I arrived, I explained that I had already received offers of over $800 on eBay, but shipping costs made those deals impractical.
