Not a great place to go for service I took my car (VW Jetta) here because the check engine light came on. The customer service person called me to tell me I needed to replace the catalytic converter at a cost of $1100, but could not tell me what the cat. converter does or why I needed a new one. I think a business that is asking for that much money should be able to explain the part to you! The person I worked with was not able to answer the questions I asked. Director of Programs and Services I am always very impressed with the service and the team at Luther Westside Volkswagen. This last time I worked with Rhienhardt and Justin in service, they were both extremely helpful and made my visit a pleasure. It is always an inconvience when you need to bring in your car, but they make it almost a pleasure. I also appreciate all the communication I receive from e-mails and the methods of follow up.
VW owner I have been a VW owner for 30 years. I have owned additional other cars for work over the years, but nothing compares to the quality of a VW, including the body design, the interior design, & the engine. The customer service & the sales people at Westside are ALWAYS on the ball & attentive to my needs.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS I purchased a vehicle from West Side 3 years ago and was lied to about the promises made with the purchase. They promise a full tank, discount gas & in this case free washes and oil changes for life. When I picked up the car they had to take it back to fill it up only at my request. The discount gas card and other discount service coupons were never provided & the oil changes / car washes were ignored. Edina Family from Cairo Our experience was very good. Helton was helpful, thoughtful and listened to our needs in looking for a used car within our budget that worked for our family. The only drawback was how long it took to meet with the purchasing manager because of how busy it was that day.
Quality Shop With Quality Staff I am from Medford, OR and this is the second time my daughter's VW needed service at Herzog-Meier. They run a quality shop with quality folks. Engell Pellumbi was outstanding as my service advisor!! Engell even washed the car for her prior to pick-up. My daughter was impressed as well...and that can be hard to do with college folks! They do it right the first time, and saving time is very big to me.
Do NOT buy a car from Herzog Meier. My wife and I purchased a late model Volvo from Herzog-Meier and wow â what a mistake. After a long pitch about how âdependableâ the Volvo is, they then sold us a warranty for $2000 that covers absolutely NOTHING. As soon as we bought the car, the coolant light came on. When I went to fill the coolant, I couldnât open the hood because the hood latch was broken. Very Helpful and Accomodating Engell at Herzog-Meier was very helpful and accommodating. His service was prompt and thorough. He took care of everything that needed to be done and even recommended a new set of tires. I was impressed that I got everything handled in one location and one day. I plan to return in the future and will request Engell as my service manager.
Run, Don't Walk, RUN NEVER RELY on their phone sales on a car you see online. They will sell it our of underneath you if a person walks on their sales floor. Aman is the WORST. He never never returns calls. Patrick is nice enough, but his boss Tom is a chicken shiznit. Instead of telling the news that the truck I wanted had been sold already he called and got my email to email that message instead of telling me over the phone.
