Customer service via phone is excellent. Fees are low to non-existent and rates are very competitive. Why just a 3? I lowered my rating solely because they changed the format of their monthly statements. They are now much more difficult to read and review because so much extraneous info is included that you have to search the lines to even determine who was paid. Ive been with Cin-Fed for over 20 years and theres a few things that bother me. Most of the time theyre closed. When theyre are open you cant get them to pickup the phone. The process for getting any kind of load is a joke! The ATM machines are down it seems all the time on the weekends. When they do work, if you have to make several deposits, and need to make a withdraw, it pushes your ATM card out after every transaction. You then have to start the whole process over again. Went there today to open an account. i first called to see what I needed. The lady after being on hold and of course was not friendly said I was fine. Well I go to the branch first of all they would not let me in even after I had taken everything with metal out of my purse. I told the lady she could search my purse she tells me to take money out and leave my purse in my car. I have had an account with Cinfed well over 22 years. They are great people to work with. They never make you feel rushed and are willing to help you with any problem. I also have an account with another Federal Credit Union and use them very rarely. Cinfed is my go to bank and will stay with them until the day I die!!
