Worst dining experience in years! Took us over an hour to just get our salads. After an hour and a half, they came and told one person in our group that they were out of what he ordered. So, he ordered a burger and since they had already served him a salad, they wanted to know if that could be his side for the burger! The lasagna was just cooked noodles, thrown on a plate, covered with sauce and that was it - worst lasagna I had ever had. No apologies for the slow service or for anything else. Will never go again.....

I remember back in the late 70s going to the Cinegrill. Had fond memories. Have not been forever and was excited to go back after many years even though I did not hear great things about it. I was very disappointed. They just moved to 10th south and main. We went before a play that stared at 7:30. Got there at 6 thinking we had plenty of time for a relaxing dinner. After waiting 45 minutes for our food after we ordered (maybe 10 minutes after we were seated) we had to leave before we got it. When we asked after forty minutes... read more

Reffered by a good friend – A close friend of ours kept telling us to try this place as it was a local favorite of theres. We kept pushing it off until one day they ended up taking us there. We loved it so much, we have been back several times over the past couple months. Service and food are great. My wife loves the Shish plate! The garlic rolls are tasty if you have them add cheese to them. Can't beat the price and portions esspecially with the economy in the condition it's in. Can't believe we have lived in Utah our whole... read more

Best Italian food you can get in Salt Lake – Great food. Highly recommend this place. It's been a local Salt Lake favorite for years. The place is super friendly and the prices for a sit down resttaurant are fantastic. Portions are big and filling. Try this place once and you will for sure be back again.

I love this place – I've been here two times and it's been great. Service is very friendly, great food, good price and the atmosphere is fun with a live piano player. I had been looking for a unique Italian restaurant since moving here and now I've found it. Spaghetti, sausage sandwiches and tiramisu, it was all delicious. I plan to keep going back and bring my friends here.

I don't get it – The place is corny inside. Salad is pretty good, but not fabulous, a bit under dressed. Sandwiches are decent, but not great, and everything's pricey for what it is. Service is fantastic from nice older ladies, but it has to be since the iced tea glass holds about 2 shots.... I guess it's a Salt Lake landmark, and that's cool, but the food needs a little work - I ordered a sausage sandwich and it had breakfast sausage like patties on it - at lunch time. I was expecting italian sausage not Jimmy Dean.

The WORST spaghetti I ever tasted! – If I made some generic boxed spaghetti and poured ketchup over it, it would probably have tasted better than this. Also, margarine on the garlic bread? I thought that was illegal--especially for these prices!

Very good food and authentic – The place has great food and is reasonably priced. It's somewhat noisy but is a classic place to dine. There is also a live piano player. Service was great and waitress was friendly.
