She did my federal and new York state taxes. She made a 2,800 dollar error that I picked up on when I got home. I called her and she didn't even know what I was talking about. She called again and still didn't admit to the mistake, but finally realized what she did wrong. When I suggested she not charge me, she had a negative attitude and would not reduce my fee and said she would NOT do my daughters tax return. I would leave zero stars but it won't let me!

The client is correct. There was an error on the New York State tax return where it was calculating New York City taxes. However, it was resolved immediately and before the tax return was submitted. I encourage all clients to review all their tax returns before signing them to confirm all information is correct.
