Cindy is more affable and attentive than most of the doctors In charge of my care. As well, she listens critically, without criticism, when I voice a concern or amateur diagnosis. If only we could clone a few more Shumans to dispense with the usual malicious affability one finds in medical profession. My only regret is that this review will send more traffic her way, which will impede my selfish needs. “Doctor” Shuman is a rare find in an increasingly pedestrian healthcare system.
Cindy takes plenty of time to listen in appointments and respond compassionately. I appreciate her genuine authentic care.
I did my research and found Cindy Shuman, PA at BMC. After one visit and a $400 bill, I realized the new meds she had just prescribed weren't a fit. After spending several minutes being routed through the BMC phone directory, I finally spoke to someone on her staff and asked if Cindy could call me back and prescribe a new medication. After about a week of phone tag, her (rude and condescending) staff let me know Cindy wouldn't change my meds unless I came in for another (expensive) office visit.
