Cincinnati Fluteworks did a great job fixing my sweet Haynes flute. It has been a long time since I had it worked on and I really forgot how well it CAN play. But I don't think it's played this well since it was new, and it even looks beautiful. I have a very light touch and Pat's padding was so careful I have no trouble at all. Everything is meticulously done. Every other person I've taken it to I've had to take it back several times because I think they have a heavier touch. I had lots of questions and she was very patient... read more
Cincinnati Fluteworks resurrected my old Professional Powell flute this summer that I've had for many years. I'm afraid I haven't had it serviced regularly as Pat recommended, but it has turned out beautifully and returned in a really reasonable amount of time. I've forgotten how well it could play - if I kept up the repairs. I won't be waiting this long again. As a note about how detailed Pat is...she found a leak in a tone hole that I would have never noticed, but has a big effect on my low notes. She was also able to smoo... read more

Pat is obviously experiencing some difficulties. I have had very positive dealing with her in the past, but she has now had my flute for 7 months with sporadic communication about having to do a double overhaul, extreme illness, and only being able to work when she is feeling a bit better. I can be sympathetic with illness but not with lack of communication, especially since she told me that my flute would be overhauled in 3 weeks initially. Is there really only 1 person working at this place of business? I can't get ANYONE ... read more
I only gave Cincinnati Fluteworks one star because it won't let you give it 0. Pat has had my flute and my piccolo for over 7 months now and claims health issues, and waiting on parts as her reasoning for not sending them back. I have now asked her send my flute and pic back even if it is in pieces. I am so upset, I am very worried that I will never see my prized instruments ever again!
There are only two people in the area who fix flutes, and I clearly picked the wrong one. I was given a "three week" estimate...and tomorrow will make it three MONTHS since I gave Pat my flute. I've heard a litany of excuses (from health issues to missing parts), but the fact of the matter is that I haven't had my flute for THREE MONTHS...and counting. I was finally able to get Pat on the phone and she has agreed to send me my flute via mail, but if I do not receive it by the end of business this coming Friday, I will have n... read more
