I “finished” my treatment about 3 years ago. Or should I say he was done doing my treatment because he maxed out my insurance. He changed my course of treatment as soon as he took over my case after my original orthodontist left. I switched to the other doctor in the office as soon as I could because of the horrible treatment he was giving me. After that doctor left I was stuck with him. I have known Dr. Cinatl for over ten years as a colleague in dentistry and our affiliation in the U.S. Army Reserves and active duty. I have always been impressed by his total commitment to his patient's health. I have observed him clinically make a choice for the patient that may have been a more difficult treatment procedure for him to perform, but it never occurred to him to do what was easier for him to do, but what was going to result in a better outcome for the patient. So I guess my review will be a bit dated since I finished my orthodontic treatments with Cinatl 15 years ago in the 90's, but I still wanted to chime in because I had a good experience with him. I originally saw another State College orthodontist who wanted to pull a bunch of my perfectly healthy teeth which my parents and I didn't feel was well justified.
