I’m having to cancel a colonoscopy, which is pretty standard preventive care for my age, because Cigna will cover nothing. Putting off until I get into a different insurance situation. I pay $300+/month and they will cover nothing until I reach $4000 in a year. This basically insures that they will never have to pay a dime.
The covered my prescription and then after the renewal, they refused to cover the prescription I need to continue living. Worst insurance company anyone could be covered by.
Terrible service. I’m sick as a dog and my specialist prescribed a standard drug to cure me, and now I have to sit around, sick, for 3 days while somebody at a Cigna desk decides if they will approve the drug my specialist doctor prescribed. The sicker I get the more angry I get at these uncaring bureaucrats. Never again, Cigna.
Cigna owns Acreedo Pharmacy which gets terrible reviews for customer service and timely deliveries. They wanted to charge me $1200 for a prescription that a drug company said would cost me $100 a month with my insurance.
