The insurance itself the coverage is great. But customer service providers are not the most helpful/ knowledgeable. I had CPT codes for something, and literally everyone said they didn't work with it. And no one could give me a straight answer as to if something was covered or not. I called 4 different numbers got transfered about 10 times. I still don't really have an answer.
Cigna will deny basically all of your claims. You can have a heart attack and be rushed to the hospital and Cigna will still say it’s not medically necessary to get treated for the heart attack. Never use this company
They won't cover my prescription
My medication is not available at any Walgreens within a 30 mile radius, and Cigna won't pay for meds anywhere except there. This garbage should be illegal.
Trying to get any type of answer is impossible you have to get pre-approved for any type of medicine or Dr visits or they will back charge you. Even when your Dr sends in the pre-approval they won't put it in your file for months. I just spent 2 hours on the phone got transferred 5 times and still nothing is done.
