I grew up in East Orleans in the 1980s when we had only one Italian fine dining restaurant. Not casual family dining, but fine dining. Through the years, we had a couple others which eventually left and most recently the former Cibo, with the Italian Market. I loved the former Cibo! The New Cibo enterprise features a next level Italian menu, lovely service and a quiet, understated ambiance. Chef Seese hosted an impromptu private dinner for my team of twelve recently and it was a delicious, warm and memorable event. Pesto scallops and wild boar pasta were exceptional. Kudos to everyone involved! We'll def be back.
Every once in a while, a new restaurant comes along that makes you think, “They may really have something special here.” After having dinner at Cibo, that was exactly my reaction. I had the delightful experience on Friday, September 11, 2026 dining with family and friends at Cibo Enoteca, a new Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding and the suggested wine pairings were superb. My meal started with Crostini al Gamberi a mouth watering dish of fresh jumbo shrimp served on house-made crostini. Happy Summer 2026, if you are around Orleans MA call Chef Colby at CIBO to make you a delicious !!! dinner after a fun day at the beach or kayaking or Cape Cod fun in general. We continue a 40 year tradition annually gathering Labor Day weekend with friends for a celebration. We did take out for 17 friends so we would NOT have to cook.
