We had an appointment booked for 1:30 pm with Larry dekoe and I guess he was off sick but we were not been told about it and had to wait for half hr in the lobby before some one could just come and let us know that he was off sick. terrible customer service. All I was doing was breaking up a few large bills and this could not be done without attitude from the girl behind the desk. Sorry but I’m on my feet and running around all day at my own customer service job yet I would never imagine giving a snarky tone to my customer. nobody is asking you to bend backwards and get on your hands and knees for the customer but at least treat them like a human being.
Unlike most other banks (including other CIBC locations), this branch doesn't have a staff member in the lobby to greet customers, answer quick questions, or direct people to the right service area. This is a major inconvenience. Many customers need to ask a quick question before lining up, especially since tellers at the counter can't handle every type of request. The staff made no effort to help streamline the lobby or minimize long wait times.
I have came here for some doc. It’s quite different for me. She literally gave me in five minutes. It was quite quick and time saver for me.
